Swanka Shack

price starting at $81.75 per night

Our new private remote off-grid jungle oasis called the Swanka Shack is a 5-minute hike downhill from the main facilities so guests staying here will need to be prepared to hike with their belongings (i.e., hiking backpacks essential) to this screened house set in the jungle by the river with a gorgeous view of the orchard and mountains. A portable battery bank is provided which provides enough power to run a fan for the night and/or the Swanka Shack main lights for 3.5 hours or a combination of both for 1 hour (lights) and about 6 hours (fan). There is an ensuite half bathroom with flush toilet and sink and guests will have the option of bathing in the river adjacent to the house or can use the shared shower buildings up at the main facilities. Purified water is also available in the room. Meals can be ordered from the on-site Toucan Cafe or guests can self-cater in the shared outdoor kitchen up at the main facilities. Wifi is also only available at the main facilities. The Swanka Shack is highly suitable for adventurous outdoorsy guests that want the ultimate nature experience!
